What we collect

When you order. Your name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, and what you bought. We need these to take payment and get the parcel to you.

When you email or call us. Whatever you send, including photographs of your headrail or a damaged part. We keep these because they are usually what lets us sort out an order or identify the right wand.

When you browse. Nothing that identifies you. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and referring sites without setting cookies, without fingerprinting your device and without following you to any other site. We cannot tell one visitor from another and we do not build a profile of you. We run no advertising tags and no retargeting pixels.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information
• We do not share it for advertising
• We do not store card details — Stripe handles payment and we never see the card number

Who processes your data

• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare — hosting, security and cookieless page-view analytics
• USPS — name, address and phone, so the parcel reaches you

Your shipping address goes to the carrier and to whoever physically packs the order, because otherwise the parcel cannot reach you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for tracking you between sites. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.

Checkout happens on Stripe's own pages, and Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud. That is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

Your rights under CCPA and GDPR

If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the other rights are yours and we will honor them.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Our lawful bases are contract (we need your details to fulfil your order) and legal obligation (we keep order records for tax purposes).

To exercise any of these, email support@batterywand.com or call (609) 474-4242, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm Eastern. We will respond within 30 days and we will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and delete what we are not required to keep.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
