Which battery wand fits a Designer Roller shade?
The answer
Almost certainly the 18V wand, part 7520068000 - it is the wand in the overwhelming majority of motorized Hunter Douglas headrails, and it takes twelve AA batteries.
Check before you order, though. Hunter Douglas built this line across several automation generations and does not list a single battery wand against it, so the safe move is thirty seconds with the old part in your hand. Slide the wand out of the headrail and count the battery bays:

What this shade is
The Designer Roller is the flat roller shade; the Banded version alternates sheer and solid horizontal bands that line up to open or offset to close. Both run on PowerView or SoftTouch automation.
Where the wand sits
These have the slimmest headrails in the range, and the wand often mounts on its own bracket beside the rail rather than inside it. Look next to the rail, not only in it.
How these fail
On a Banded shade, bands that stop aligning properly point at the motor or its limits rather than at power. A wand fault stops the shade; it does not misalign it.
Is it definitely the wand?
