Which wand do I need for a Designer Roller shade?
The 18V wand, part 7520068000, which takes twelve AA batteries. Hunter Douglas documents one wand for Designer Roller, Designer Screen and Designer Banded Shades, and this is it: 7520068000 empty, or 7520066000 pre-loaded, which is the same wand sold with batteries already in it.
One check before you order: slide the old wand out and count twelve cells. If you find eight, email us a photo of the headrail sticker before buying anything.
How is a Designer Roller shade built?
The Designer Roller is the flat roller shade; the Banded version alternates sheer and solid horizontal bands that line up to open or offset to close. Both run on PowerView or SoftTouch automation.
