What battery wand does an EverWood blind take?

The 12V wand, part 7520069000, which takes eight AA batteries. Hunter Douglas documents it for EverWood Alternative Wood Blinds built from May 2018 onward, the same grouping as Parkland and Modern Precious Metals. If your slats are aluminum, see Modern Precious Metals battery wand replacement.

Blinds motorized before January 2007 used a four-cell 6V PowerTilt pack, which Hunter Douglas has discontinued with no replacement. If you are not sure when yours was made, slide the old pack out and count: eight batteries means the 12V wand; four means the PowerTilt pack, and no current wand replaces it. Twelve would be unusual on this line — email us a photo of the headrail sticker before ordering.

Do the eight-cell parts fit an EverWood blind?

Usually not. Both parts belong to PowerRise-era headrails: the conversion kit retires a corroded sealed battery tube, and the 13 inch power cable is the PowerRise motor-to-wand lead.
