Which battery wand fits an EverWood blind?
The answer
Almost certainly the 18V wand, part 7520068000 - it is the wand in the overwhelming majority of motorized Hunter Douglas headrails, and it takes twelve AA batteries.
Check before you order, though. Hunter Douglas built this line across several automation generations and does not list a single battery wand against it, so the safe move is thirty seconds with the old part in your hand. Slide the wand out of the headrail and count the battery bays:

What this shade is
EverWood is the composite version of Parkland - the same look, built to survive bathrooms and kitchens where real wood warps.

How these fail
EverWood slats are heavier than basswood and these often hang in damp rooms. Humidity plus heat is exactly what makes alkaline cells vent, so corrosion inside the tube is more common on this line than most.
Is it definitely the wand?
