Which battery wand fits a Solera?
The answer
Almost certainly the 18V wand, part 7520068000 - it is the wand in the overwhelming majority of motorized Hunter Douglas headrails, and it takes twelve AA batteries.
Check before you order, though. Hunter Douglas built this line across several automation generations and does not list a single battery wand against it, so the safe move is thirty seconds with the old part in your hand. Slide the wand out of the headrail and count the battery bays:

What this shade is
Solera is the soft roman - a cellular construction that hangs in soft folds instead of crisp pleats, so it reads as fabric rather than as a blind.
Where the wand sits
Solera headrails are compact. If the wand will not come free, check you are sliding it along the rail rather than trying to pull it straight down out of it.
How these fail
Solera sits between Duette and Vignette for weight. Slow, labored travel is usually batteries; no response at all on fresh cells is the wand.
Is it definitely the wand?
